Very dissapointed to hear last night that some fellow trail builders were planning on removing the last pallet jump from the exit of the Belbins climb. More dissapointed to see theyd actually gone ahead with it. Even more dissapointing that the two brothers(and one other) involved didnt have the decency or the balls to approach either Tony Cole or myself about their concerns seeing they knew wed built them. Was it the best jump in the world? no, was it the easest, no, was it achievable, yes, was it avoidable, yes. Ive asked a huge number of riders in the Meehan their thoughts on the jumps, everyone loves the first two, and some the third, others coulnt care for any of them or are keen to work up to the third and take the b line in th emean time. no different than me not liking Aubs log roll overs to begin with, but I said that to Aubs and he took it on board - and told me it was all in the technique, he was right. But in this example its purely sanitising/dulling down the trail because they couldnt take the jump. If you cant ride a feature, practice or take the b line, simple as that. Piss poor effort Shaun Fullarton and Craig Fullarton, you both know me and didnt have the decency to even ask/talk to me about it. Grow some balls. And remember it was ME that gained access to the land this trail is on and it is Jason and I that keep things progressing.
