Very emotionally and physically draining day. My sweet girl was poked and prodded all morning. Blood, urine samples, chest X-ray, and upper GI were done. Waiting on blood work to come back. X-rays and GI today were clean. Still waiting on blood results. They are in the process of setting up a more extensive GI and another test at Lebonheur. I dont think either one of my children have ever been that tended to. I was very pleased and impressed with Pediatric Associates. Even though their concern has me a little more worried. Shes fallen more off the curve for weight (still not on the chart), and is only in the 1% for height. On the plus, shes very alert, smiling, talking and any brain or mental issues were pretty much ruled out today. Worst case scenario is still a possibility, but so is the best. Im worried, but still hopeful. Im overwhelmed by the text and phone calls Ive received today and thank you to everyone. We came home and crashed and I havent had time to respond to each of you personally. Your worry and concern hasnt gone unnoticed. I hate for you to read an update on Facebook, but I honestly just dont have the time to call or text everyone back. Also a huge thank you to my Aunt Angie and Shelley for being with us today since Barry had to sleep for work, Mary for taking care of Bing, and my family for the support. Please continue to pray for my sweet girl and that we get some answers soon!
