Very excited that I got the okay from my landlord to overhaul my ugly kitchen. Its amazing how a little paint and wall paper will make this dark kitchen bright and shiny! Here is a BEFORE pic and I used Rustoluem Countertop paint in taupe to start. I have heard that this paint is very touchy even if after it cures so I will be sealing it in with a coat of polyurethane for extra durability. For the backsplash Im going to make a fake tin look using raised wallpaper, painting it silver and then rubbing it with a little bit of glaze to age it. The cabinets will be painted off white with a tiny bit of glaze antiquing in the crevices to make it pop. The last picture is what the end result will look like.
