Very frustrated by the fact that since my cable company (Charter) has gone 100% digital I am required to have boxes on all 7 TVs in our house if I want to watch TV. We wont have one in the exercise room since Mike can watch DVDs on it. BUT, I NEED a TV in my office, in the kitchen, in the bedroom, in the family room and in the man cave. May can do without one in the guest bedroom! Its another $6/month/box that is actually bigger than the TVs Id be watching in my office and kitchen!! Do I need more clutter? Called Charter to find out why I had no signal this morning and now I know. We added 2 boxes a month ago but hoped it wouldnt go totally black on the others! WRONG! I dont even watch but 1 channel (CBS) in the office, and only a few in the kitchen -- as well as the other rooms. Mikes the only one that watches about 20 stations! We have about 2-300, supposedly -- cant and dont want to watch most of them! I told the guy to suggest to management that they give a bulk discount! He said hed pass it on. I pay them $230/month now as it is with phone, TV and internet! Now another $18/month for the rest of my life!!! (Im sure itll go up, too, they always do!). Wish we could be do a cafeteria plan of what channels we can have. All the other companies have boxes, too - or so the guy said!! Its too quiet sitting here at my desk!
