Very good advice. On a more serious note feral cats are a concern in our community. Not only do they kill birds, reptiles and small mammals, they are carriers of disease and destroy property. Feeding them and attracting them to your property will not result in your winning a neighbor of the year award. They can attract predatory animals including coyotes to your property. New laws requiring those who feed feral cats may result in a visit from the Pike County Dog Warden and some costly fines.
