Very grateful for the opportunity to go off and play with my family today, consume tasty treats, and drink in the atmosphere of one of my favorite cities!! I anticipate much smiling, laughter, photos taken and perhaps even a carriage ride on this chilly day! Im grateful that we can follow that carriage ride with yet another round of cafe au lait at Cafe DuMonde! Im also grateful for memories of so many holidays past when my parents and grandparents were still here and we gathered together. Those memories are the fiber of my soul!! I know that I am blessed to have had them for as long as I did! Finally though, I am blessedly grateful for all of you, my wonderful family and friends! I hope your day is also filled with good memories, good people and good food! Hugs and smackers to all yall!!
