Very interesting post on the benefits of adding raw potatoes to your juice. I found studies cited on WebMD and 2 other scientific publications that back this up, with a particular emphasis on GI tract healing. Hmm, Ive never thought of adding potatoes to my juice. Just be sure they are NOT green at all. The chemical solanine is a defense against insects and its present in potatoes with a green tinge. A small amount can result in ill effects like nausea and headaches. Even cooking does not completely destroy the negative effects of a green potato.
