While the following comment is not mine, it certainly contains a dire warning, as does the article. - Sharon At a time when Germany was at a low point economically, in came a charismatic leader (Hitler) and all the people were drawn to hope and belief. They discarded any talk of wrong doing by their leader, only to believe he was the answer to all their trouble. Sad as this is, the human mind when faced with direr events will cling to hope in any change and that is what happened to the German people and in the end as with any event of this nature in history is the real tragedy. To believe it will not happen again, is a mistake. To blindly follow a charismatic leader is a bigger mistake. To allow your morals to be discarded for personal gain, just plain wrong. Be aware of the leaders that smile, tell a story to influence an outcome, for it may not be the outcome you thought it would be in the end. War is the lowest form of mankind intelligence one thought before Hitler. Hitler taught us one thing, never trust a government that would take the lives of its own citizens and ethnic groups. Never trust a charismatic leader again who smiles, tells you one thing and does another..., stay alert.
