Very proud of my comrade Cllr Greg Kelly last night who brought forward a motion and gave a very passionate speech to ask the government to introduce legislation to ease the restrictions on the EpiPen being used in the public area and use by Pharmacist. As we all unfortunately know 14 year old Emma Sloan died on OConnell Street last year as her mother was refused an EpiPen by a Pharmacist. We cant bring Emma back with this but we can stop any further deaths. Emmas mother and family were in the gallery last night and to see full support from the chamber on this motion. They have been to the fore of this campaign and will no doubt save many lives. Please put pressure on your local TD,Cllr to get on the to the Minister for Health and get this legislation pushed through.
