Very recently, we saw Minister of Foreign Affairs John Baird and the Canadian government play an instrumental role in the release of John Greyson and Tarek Loubani from their illegal detention in Egypt. On October 1st, Minister Baird told media that “The government, at the Prime Minister’s direction, has been engaged in a big way to secure the release of these two Canadians…. Canadians have got to know that their government at the highest level is doing absolutely everything it can.” PLEASE DONT FORGET THE REST OF THEM!
