Very sad !!!!!! From Chris McCann: ATTENTION! YUKON JACKS IS CLOSING THE DOORS THIS SUNDAY. I ask everyone in the Hanover-Horton/Jackson area to please share this post. My mom and dad have owned Yukon Jacks for over 15 years. Before that they owned Kellys Diner, and ran a restaurant at the Y-Center. They have been in the restaurant business since before I was born. My parents have ALWAYS been selfless people. They love their customers and have touched many, MANY, lives. They spent Christmas mornings feeding the needy and making sure every child that walked through the door got to see Santa. Every child that had nothing, left with presents from Santa and a full belly. They have went out of their way to help the Hanover Horton community or anybody, for that matter, that had fallen on hard times or had a family emergency. After 15 years at Yukon Jacks they are closing the doors and walking away after this Sunday. The economy and the harsh winters have made it a battle to stay a float thats not worth the fight anymore just to keep the lights on. They are AMAZING people and I admire them more than anyone else I have ever met. Its a awful, hurtful, sad time for them. They love what they do and its hurting them deeply to have to do this. They are having one last hurrah this weekend. Karaoke on Friday and the JD band on Saturday. Im asking everyone who they have touched to come out and wish them good luck in their next endeavor. They are deeply, deeply saddened and need your support the next few days. Come out and have a good time with them and wish them a very happy goodbye. They love this community so much and i know it would touch them to see each and every one you. Karaoke starts at 9 Friday night and the Jack Daniels Band starts at 7 on Saturday. Come out and support them one more time
