Very serious consideration: After spending 2-1/2 years in Georgia (after DC) as a young military nurse, I find it hard to imagine that alpha males continue to be sacrificed in the name of honor during wars, gang violence, and street encounters. Having had two sons thrown for a loop (and, luckily) surviving, I sympathize with families who have lost everything. Having watched alpha malehood from the catbird seat, I insist that we find a way to keep men alive. When MLK said he was on the way to the mountain top, I knew he was a goner--we must work to find a way to refuse martyrs and killers. In the meantime (and less serious): I managed to get through 16 hours of Pilates training this weekend
