Very tired from the show this weekend, but it was nice to see people and show off our kids. Show results for Ravensnest: Syd got third in sable, and placed (a ninth, I think) in one companion ring. Desi got second in roan and fourth in BMP. Bucky won BMP. Amber got third in champagne/chocolate and second in passport. Then she decided to start going into heat at the end of the day and got herself dqd from the breeder rings. Silly girl, she could have waited a day! Morgan won senior and placed in one breeder ring, but I forget which ring or placement - it was the end of the day! She also got third in black sable. More importantly, she got to say hi to her first mommy, Suzy. Ceri placed in two of the adolescent rings and just missed placing in the third - she was tense and unhappy with the judges (sorry, Mary, Scarlett, and Paula), and I think that was my fault. Shes used to me walking around the show hall and cuddling with her before she goes into the carrier, and I was busy and failed to do that. Lesson learned and I will remember that my darling princess needs to come first! When I handled her before the specialty rings she was in, she relaxed and flirted with the judge as usual (and she flirted with several other people later as well). She took first in passport and in sable. And Epona began her date with Mikey last night.
