Very touching each time I hear this I loose control. Dont wait til its to late. Even though we saw the writing on the wall we, I, didnt want to face it. Now we have no choice. And even though she no longer knows who we are, we still need to visit with her, most of you know my Mom has Alzheimers and although, as I said she doesnt recognize us most of the time, her loved ones need to know people care and havent forgot her.I know its not easy, but when its your Mom or Dad, wife, husband, Grandma, or Grandpa what would you want for them and even more important their living husband or wife. Alzheimers doesnt just change the patients life, it has a major impact on many lives. I wish I lived closer so I could go see her more often, or just go up with Dad when he goes and feeds her lunch and bring him a cup of coffee. I want to take this chance to thank Anne and Jim Marcella, and Virginia Tamachaski (Jackie Perry could you relay that to your Mom)for their visits to see Mom.
