Very uplifting to see that none of my friends, nor the loose amalgam of wider Facebook associates who fall into that amorphous category, have chosen to have a crass dig at the probable suicide of Mick Jaggers girlfriend, LWren Scott (bar a time-honoured pop at Jaggers infamous alleged parsimony). Depression is probably the reason for her untimely demise, and as many of us know, from personal experience and among those we love, this rough beast is only one bounced cheque, one turbulent collision of events, or some bad consecutive rolls of lifes dice away from us all. Perhaps the threads of decency that bind us, and should define us, are stronger than I sometimes think. Heres hoping.
