Very upsetting day! Took Matty up to childrens for her virus she has had and left with a very heavy heart. It seems that my sweet girl is truly the strongest person I know cause I had no clue how much she was struggling behind her sweet smile! I had told her doc that I was worried Matty had another uti and after looking at mattys past labs she decided we needed to do a urine test. Matty had to be sedated for the catherer (my baby can fight) and before I left the doc said if it was positive for a uti she would call something in. Then she said if it wasnt a uti she would be concerned about her kidneys due to her recent labs. At 7pm tonight I got a call from her doc saying she had been so concerned she hung around andvwited for the lab results and that the results were not good. My sweet moo us having kidney problems (I refuses to say kidney failure until I have no other options) tomorrow we will set up a renal ultrasound, a cvg? Test which shows if she has urinary reflux. She will be scheduled to see a nephrologist and a urologist asap (by end of week) and it will be decided if we have her start dyalisis or if she needs an iv port to go on iv meds while the kidneys heal. She will be being admitted as soon as more is figured out but I want her home as much as possible. We are facing a rough few weeks but all I need is lots of prayers for my girl. Im really worried!
