Very, very interesting. Therapy has its place but I once volunteered at a local battered womans shelter (as a Life Coach.) When I was done and the social worker came back into the room, one of the more vocal women in the group, announced (to my surprise) we dont want that other lady here any more. All she does is make us cry and feel bad. We want her (pointing to me.) I was horrified afraid the social worker might think I put them up to it. The point is, I found a way to bring them the hope they were seeking. I didnt know who the therapist was working for the shelter, but she apparently wasnt connecting very well with her charges.
