Very wise words. The absolute truth! Ive seen this for over 20 years. I see it right now in studios i teach at. Parents shunning other dancers and having hateful attitudes towards them because if their fear that their child is getting left behind or not getting what another dancer has. They think no one can tell but I see these parents coming a mile away. They are good people but just blinded by jealousy and envy. Its not healthy. Its definitely not healthy to teach your child these types of things especially if they teach them hate, jealousy and envy. Not a positive and growing environment that they are creating for their child. This article is spot on! Well written!! :-)
