Veteran Concealed Handgun Class and Fundraiser SITUATION: Marine Corps Leaguer, Rene Rodriguez, has acquired free access to Eagle Gun Range in Lewisville, TX for all Veterans to be able to shoot for qualification. The training is offered at a discount rate of $50 per Veteran. DATE & TIME/CONCEPT OF OPERATIONS: AUGUST 16TH, SATURDAY: We will meet at Eagle Gun Range at 0700 to conduct live fire qualification. Upon completion of firing, we will depart to the American Legion, Denton, TX for the classroom portion of the CHL. Range: Eagle Gun Range, 491 Valley Ridge Blvd, Lewisville, TX 75057 Muster/Headcount: 0700 Safety Brief/Range Hot: 0700-0830 (Drive time is approximately 15 minutes) Classroom: American Legion Post 71, 2501 Spencer Rd, Denton, TX Muster/Headcount: 0900 Class Start: 0900-Complete (Class is 4-6 hours, depending on questions) LOGISTICS: -Bring the pistol you are comfortable shooting .32 caliber or larger, auto or revolver -One box of cartridges (50 rounds); factory load ammunition ADMIN: 1. Rene will email you a copy of the range rules and paper work to be filled out; this will make the shooting and class room portion efficient. 3. On the day of the class, provide payment ($50) in cash, check, or debit/credit card. Make checks payable to “Rene Rodriguez”. 4. Non-Veteran friends or family may also participate, but an additional range fee of ($15) will need to be paid directly to Eagle Gun Range.
