Veteran Danny Chia shot a third round five-under-par 67 to stretch his lead to seven strokes in the PGM Tour’s Panasonic Open Tournament of Champions at Templer Park Country Club. “This is the biggest lead I’ve ever had on tour going into the last round. And what I need to do now is make sure that I play my own game tomorrow (in the last round). I cannot afford to think about winning it now… I need to focus on the job in hand,” said the 42-year-old, who carded a flawless 64 in the second round. Singapore’s Mardan Mamat shot 72 to stay second on the leaderboard on seven-under 209, one stroke ahead of Malaysia’s top-ranked amateur Gavin Kyle Green and Thailand’s Wisut Artjanawat.
