Veteran actor Lino Grech passes away The drama sector is in mourning today following the passing away of veteran actor and director Lino Grech. Grech was among Malta’s longest-serving stage names, with many remembering him in the TV drama f’Bahar Wiehed where be partnered the late Gemma Portelli, although his work was very varied. Apart from being a great actor, he was also a great father ....... a father of one of my great friends - Eric. “The hour of departure has arrived, and we go our separate ways, I to die, and you to live. Your father was a great man.... he gave us a lot of family gathering in front of the TV watching most of his drama especially F Bahar Wiehed. May he rest in peace.
