Veterans will be honored at the Avery High School football game this Friday night. The National Anthem will feature a giant American flag on the field. At halftime, veterans will be honored by branch. Complimentary refreshments will be available beginning at 7pm at the JROTC classroom at the upper stadium entrance. Veterans may park near the classroom in the rear. This is very short notice, so if you know a veteran or have one in your family, please encourage them to attend.
