Veteranwarriors has been reviewing the OIG reports for over a year - TopicsExpress

Veteranwarriors has been reviewing the OIG reports for over a year and has yet to find a single report which clearly states that an employee(s) violated policy, broke the law or committed an act of dereliction. Additionally, when the OIG DOES substantiate allegations, Veteran Warriors has not found any instance where the OIG has recommended firing, suspensions or removal of an employee. When the OIG freely admits that they are doing investigations and reports that they do not share with the House Committee on Veterans Affairs , Chairman Jeff Miller or the public, without any reason (valid or otherwise) - then it is time to #OverhaultheVA ; to include the OIGs office. The VA OIG has a long history of sugar-coating their findings of malfeasance at VA facilities. When they do substantiate allegations, their recommendations are typically - re-training, increased oversight or more money. The VA OIG may be tasked with being a Watchdog but they are not behaving like one. ~ Lauren Price
