Veterinary Assistant (Summerlin) Blue Cross Animal Hospital has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our team. We are an AAHA accredited 4-doctor hospital that offers the latest technology in veterinary medicine. The ideal candidate will support our Veterinarians and Technicians in providing the highest quality in care for pets, educate clients on all aspects of pet health and is a partner in safety and our core process throughout the hospital. Essential responsibilities of the position would include the following: *Assisting the back office team in providing the highest quality of care. *Ability to provide exceptional client service on a consistent basis. *Performing or prepping for procedures. *Educating clients on wellness programs, preventative care, pet needs and services. *Ability to obtain client information and history in order to maintain proper and complete medical charts. *Utilize safe restraining techniques. *Maintain sterile, clean and organized treatment areas, exam rooms and labs.
