Choo Choo Forge has workshops planned. Contact Jack Wheeler for details. Large Gas Forge Training Class The class will be Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Fiddlers Grove in Lebanon, TN. The class begins at 9:00 CDT and admission is free. John Sloan and Brandon Chance will conduct a one day training class on building a two or more burner forge. John has 35 years of experience with refractory and will show cast insulation in several stages of completion. They will al-so show different styles of forges and burners. They will have handouts for material sources and will have materials for sale. You will only receive literature and instructions for building a forge. July 11-13, 2014 The Uncle Dave Macon Days 2014 Old Time Music and Dance Festival will be at Cannonsburg Village in Mureeesboro, TN. August 7-10, 2014 Chasing and Reoussė Class taught by Ron Nichols and Jeff Jarrett. Students must have some experience, a treadle hammer with safety chain, and tools. The class will make a wall sconce and some prework will be required (the stem).
