Via Boniface Sila AFTER MPEKETONI MASSACRES, WHATS NEXT? If for sure we elected a responsible leadership, bringing communities together should start from the top. Most answers lie in; 1) the Preamble of our constitution; 2) the chapter on rights and freedoms; 3) chapter six of our constitution; and lastly 4) the manner in which Presidential appointments are made. The answer to the problems that bedevil Kenya lies within those four areas that i have mentioned. Kenya belongs to all of us. From the top leadership to the common man at the grassroots, decisions should be made responsibly and in accordance with the constitution which we have vowed to uphold, defend and protect. Any deviation from the constitutional requirements will drive Kenya to its deathbed. A structured National Dialogue is important at this stage so that Kenyan can review on where they have gone wrong and make necessary corrections. Going forward, competition and or chest thumping will not take us anywhere. I expect to see responsible leadership from those we elected, including those who we didnt due to circumstances beyond us. For SANITY to prevail a Structured National Dialogue is a Must for the benefit of our future generation. God Bless Kenya Always.
