Via City of St Augustine: Saturday October 25 from 8 a.m. to noon is How to get rid of hard-to-get-rid-of stuff Super Community Collection Day at the Anastasia Square Shopping Center, on the corner of State Road 312 and A1A. This event is free for St. Johns County residents, and allows the opportunity to dispose of residential materials that cannot be tossed as ordinary garbage. The following items will be collected: -- Household hazardous waste, including: paint, motor oil, gasoline, batteries, pool chemicals, lighter fluid, transmission fluids, aerosol cans, etc. -- Obsolete electronics, including: monitors, printers, laptops, hardware, stereos, speakers, kitchen appliances, etc. No microwave ovens or large appliances will be accepted. -- Tires, including: automobile and light truck tires only. Limit 10 tires per household. This event is limited to St. Johns County residents, and only residential materials will be accepted.
