Via: Minister Lawrence Foster The weather will be changing soon, so, It is time to know how to see about any overheating issues. A vehicle can overheat because of different situations. However, what is common is, air flow blockage, radiator and/or cap malfunction, no coolant flow through holes due to a closed thermostat which means, the thermostat is at fault. A faulty water pump can cause a head gasket to blow, please note that a water pump can also be called a coolant pump. Check for the coolant fan to turn on if the car does get too hot. If under the hood is smoking and the sensor is not where it needs to be, like in the middle or near the (hot) section, then, chances are the coolant sensor needs to be replace in order to get an accurate reading. There are other tests but they will be covered in the video that is shared... The technician name is, Eric the car guy. Take care everyone...
