Via email: Good morning, Teressa still needs our fervent prayers. Yesterday she showed some improvement in ability to breath and maintain oxygen levels. She was taken off the mask treatment, where they forced air into her lungs as she inhales. They had put her on a cannula through her nose that was much easier on her, but less pressure on the lungs. She went into some decline during the Sabbath and had a bad night. Her oxygen levels and ability to breath was reduced to the point they had to put her back on the mask treatment. They said she is much sleepier than she had been. The weekend doctor will be conferring with her regular respiratory doctor today and they are discussing incubation and putting her on a ventilator. This is not good news. The nurse expects her to be on the ventilator for at least 3 days, minimum if they do this.
