Via my daughter Kim Brandon Pretorius Tata Motors South Africa is committing fraud. The Durban Central Multifranchise branch has doctored my service record to try and change the mileage back , either that or they have driven 3000km on my vehicle (and broken the tow bar) without my consent!! They also had the COR done on my car while the vehicle was NOT with them (how?) and there are discrepancies between the records of dates and mileage from them and AA South Africa. (AA passed, what is in my opnion, an unroadworthy vehicle) They also refuse to stick to their after sales promises and will not repair the faults on the vehicle even though I bought the extended warranty and service plan. The dealership will not even take our calls or reply to emails now, and the latest is that TATA HO has also now just passed the buck on the fraud accusations levelled at one of their Imperial dealerships by saying it isn’t their problem, the dealership must sort it out. But no details of owner for the franchise are available. WHAT?! Service in our country, and the very blasé way that people go around committing crime, is just out of control. We should not allow the big companies to get away with this. They are robbing us, the person on the street that is keeping them high up in their glass offices! I have all relevant emails and documents to back up my claims. Linette Retief
