Via the Secretary Sunday was a wonderful day. The church in Ilfracomb made me very welcome. I was able to share about the evils of human trafficking. A friend, Nina Cleaver, said to me prior to the start of the ride, that the ride was needed. This statement proved true. Two people from the congregation told me afterward that they had no idea that human trafficking and modern day slavery even existed. After church my hosts took me on a proper walk through Ilfracomb. We walked, then stopped and had a proper pasty. We walked some more, then stopped and had ice cream. Then we walked some more and stopped for a drink. Unfortunatley, I forgot the camera and didnt take any photos of the lovely area. I was up and out by 6.00 am. Rain was falling, so I prayed: God, I really dont want to get wet. Can you keep me dry? But up the hill I started, and about half an hour later, just as I reached the topof the hill, the rain stopped. And by 9.15 am, the weather was still dry. Todays destination is Wadebridge. Tuesdays destination is Lands End. Yippee! By the end of Tuesday, I shall be qualified to become an official member of the JOGLA Association. And on Tuesday, The Secretary, (aka wife, Dalletta) and my sister-in-law, Diane will be meeting me in Penzance. I hope the water in the sea isnt too cold! Im looking forward to a swim at Lands End. Milage completed at the end of Saturday--950 miles. Praise be to God. Keep the prayers up!
