ViaGG Simon Jones commentary during our tour of D-Day sites was first class, as were the stories our veterans told. The most moving event was the small ceremony we held at the Bayeux Commonwealth Wargraves Cemetery. Our veterans stood shoulder-to-shoulder and arms linked as the RNZN bugler played and Des Laurie and I laid a wreath. It is a real honour to attend commemorative ceremonies with our veterans.
