Viacom, a Strange Special kind of Evil... many people deserve to know how truly bad this company is, and Im going to tell you. Essentially, what Viacom is, is a company which helps produce for other companies. It doesnt naturally produce anything itself really, it just leeches onto other companies and essentially helps them get their content out. Viacoms main ones being Nickelodeon, MTV, and VH1, among others. With this, becomes the overinflated ego that really is unanimous with the name of Viacom. Basically, Viacom thinks what it has rights to, it can do literally ANYTHING it wants to those said things. Despite there being large evidence to the contrary. Mr. Enters Youtube termination is only one example of Viacoms Copyright idiocy. Viacom attacks anything that is related to its Networks. It doesnt matter what it is, good, bad, or like Mr. Enters videos, reviews that show only small clips of the episodes to get the point across and are protected by Fair Use. Something Viacom has never heard of. Youtube is just at big a fault as Viacom though. Youtubes Copyright System is broken, it has been for years. Its only gotten worse, its caused accounts to die for no reason, get shut down only to be put back up again due to BS claims, and basically Fair Use may as well not exist. Its as someone else already said, the accuser is always right. and because of that, it doesnt matter if you have a claim, it doesnt matter if theyre wrong, you have to go through a whole bullshit spiel to even hope to get your account back. Because of this, Viacom plays easy hit and run with accounts however it sees fit with little to no resistance, and it is bullshit. Viacom has done this to so many things online it isnt even funny. Not only are they a leech that sucks the talent and heart from a company by doing next to nothing themselves, just having lots of money, but they remove things that creators of shows under their Network upload themselves like the Breadwinners Pilot (And yeah Breadwinners is shit but thats a low thing to do). But then again as Mr. Enter said this is a company that fired a chunk of their employees RIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS once, and also sued Youtube and uploaded their own content to Youtube to win the lawsuit... yeah, what a bunch of ignorant dicks. Mr. Enter has gone on record to call Viacom possibly the worst company currently in America, and with what they do to content creators, their own Networks, Youtube, and essentially every single thing around them, its hard to argue otherwise... Viacom is a horrible, heartless company, and everyone deserves to know it. Maybe now we can see just another reason Nickelodeon has turned to shit. I would too under the eye of this Corporate Monstrosity.
