Vice Chairman of CRIF former France Meir Habib, was chosen tonight (Sunday) the French Parliament. CRIF is the umbrella organization of French Jews and Habib resigned as deputy chairman of the organization, for the purpose of dealing Parliament, and tonight, as he won the election. Please note that this is the first time an observant Jew was elected to parliament.
