Vice-Chancellor’s visit to Maryland, USA. The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Bartho Okolo, is currently attending the Human Capital Risk Management Workshop for Vice-Chancellors of Nigerian universities, which is taking place in Baltimore, Maryland, USA from 12th – 16th, August, 2013. He has seized the opportunity to hold a human resource mobilization meeting for our Department of Medical Rehabilitation with members of Nigeria Physiotherapy Network and the Association of Nigerian Physical Therapists in the United States. (See photos). The Vice-Chancellor is also scheduled to visit President of Howard University and his principal officers on Friday, 16th August 2013, to discuss potential areas of collaboration and partnership between our universities. It is worthy to note that the founder of our university, Hon. (Dr) Nnamdi Azikiwe, the great Zik of Africa, was an alumnus of Howard University. The VC’s visit to Howard University represents a continuation of his programme of internationalization though collaborations with reputable institutions across the globe.
