Vicki here..... Today when Dad, Mom, Matt and I got to the hospital and rounded the corner of Marks room, there was a man sitting in a chair in his darkened room. I stopped, paused, and wondered who this person was. He said nothing...As I walked closer he looked across the room at us and quietly said, Hi mom. SERIOUSLY, REALLY, YES!... It was our son, Joseph whos been out at sea! Dr. Pittman had talked with the American Red Cross who contacted the Pentagon,who then sent orders for him to be able to fly here and see his dad! None of us knew he was coming this morning, except his brother, Matt, who picked him up at the airport and took him straight to the hospital. Needless to say, it was quite an emotional moment when he walked into Marks room and over to his dad...with a repeated edition of the same when the rest of us saw him! What an amazing blessing and orchestration by our Lord, to pave the way for this to happen!! This evening Kari & Mason joined us all too and what a beautiful time we had...just sitting and being together with Mark, in that hospital room! I think the room itself was probably glowing! Other than this, there wasnt a whole lot of change or other news today. As weak and tired as he was, Mark was invigorated by the day. Probably too much activity for him, but now ready for a good nights rest tonight. Mom, Dad and I are now home, but Matt and Joe are still at the hospital with their dad....having a little bit more guy time together...even though I know Mark is already asleep...:) Dr. Pittman was in while we were there....he also got to meet Joe and Marks dad. He termed Marks condition status as guarded....still taking things a day at a time. Continuing to learn to wait upon the Lord and His timing and plan. You have been so faithful in your praying in our behalf...our prayer is that you do not become weary and your blessings are pressed down, shaken together and running over! :)
