Fresh northerly winds ahead of a cooler westerly change in the west, extending eastwards across the remainder of the State during the afternoon and evening. Sunday 16 March Isolated showers, mainly in southern and mountain areas and tending scattered near the coast. Cool with moderate to fresh west to northwesterly winds. Fire Danger - High, locally very high in the north. Weather Situation A cold front over western Victoria will extend eastwards across the State during the afternoon and evening. Another weaker cold front will cross the State during Monday. A ridge of high pressure will extend across Victoria during Tuesday then persist for much of the week.
