Victoria Pendleton started cycling from the time she was able to walk unaware of the great achievements that laid before her. At nine, summer holidays often saw a young Victoria cycling on grass racing against her twin brother. This continued until some years later when at the British National Track Championship, she took home three medals and a bronze. That should have made her sit still admiring her achievements but then she wanted more. In the 2002 Commonwealth Games, she took the fourth place in the sprint. I can imagine what was ringing in her head. No way im not settling for this! Then in the 2004 world cup event, she finished first. (true story) Nothing just happens. No man becomes great by chance. Whether spiritually or otherwise. Uve got to train hard by making ur body do what it should do not what it wants to do. Only cowards give up.
