Victory is truly SWEET the 2nd time around. Even if we had to wait for the last vote to be counted amidst the overwhelming lead over the incumbent opponent. We just dont want to be assuming and complacent like what happened in the last Brgy election wherein our premature jubilation was broken down by a heartbreaking 4 vote lost to a relatively new candidate in the final tally. Finally, after patiently waiting for 15 years, we had reclaimed the seat of leadership once again in the neighborhood we grew up in and can now effect the needed change and improvement for the welfare and benefit of everyone. Just too bad I dont reside in the same neighborhood anymore but coming back during significant events like elections gives me an opportunity to rekindle childhood friendships. Thank you to all those who believed, trusted, supported and voted my father again as their Barangay Chairman together with 6 of his Kagawad! This victory goes to the community He grew up and lived in and most of all LOVED and called HOME for the past 75 years of his existence. MARAMING SALAMAT PO!!!
