Video: Man turns commuter train into dance party Peter Sharp turned a Perth, Australia, commuter train into a dance party for a YouTube video designed to spread a bit of happiness. PERTH, Australia, Oct. 15 (UPI) -- An Australian man who turned a train into a dance party in a viral video said he wanted to change fear-based public spaces to love-based public spaces. Peter Sharp posted a YouTube video that depicts him wearing a tuxedo on a Perth commuter train and convincing his fellow riders to join him in a dance party to the tune of James Browns I Feel Good. I dont want money, I just want to spread a little bit of happiness, Sharp tells the commuters in the video. Im doing this because were all amazing individuals and we all have a story to tell, he says. We all have something to share. Sharp posted a second video explaining his motives for the experiment. The performance artist says his aim was to transform fear-based public spaces to love-based public spaces. I dont know if youve noticed it, but on the train its like this crazy void in space and time where people just disconnect from life and the opportunities sitting next to them, he says. Sharp says his goal was opening the eyes of the people in a very gentle and respectful way to the social possibilities around them.
