Video Post 1 of 3 This video will support what I believe to be the second moved body at Gettysburg by the photographers. Using the dirt line on the boulder and the ground not washed away by erosion, I was able to determine a height for the mannequin heads. In this video the mannequin heads are two feet away from the boulder (from boulder to center of head, or the nose) Every conceivable camera angle by the photographers, and a little more, are covered. In this video, the red haired mannequin at right, representing the dead soldiers head in Gardners image, will not move left past the large crack in the middle of the boulder where it is seen in Gibsons image. Stop the video at :06 and you are at Gardners camera angle. At :38 you have Gibsons camera angle. The only way the red haired mannequin will even move past the large crack in the center of the boulder is once you are way to the right of Gibsons camera position. A simple test for anyone is to go to the site in Gettysburg and place an object on the ground to the right of the crack and move to the different camera positions. Then move the object away from the boulder and again go to the camera locations, and keep repeating the procedure. and the results will always be the same.
