Video Surveillance, Still Pictures from the Albertsons & Walgreens Pharmacy Robberies Crime Stoppers of the Inland Northwest Offering Cash Reward Investigators realized the video/pictures are not extremely clear but they are hoping someone can identify the suspect(s) or may know of someone who recently may be attempting to sell pharmaceutical type medications illegally. At this time, it is unclear if these robberies are connected. Up to $2,500 Reward Offered for Information Leading to Arrest of Robbery Suspect(s) Spokane Valley/Spokane County, WA – 11/18/2014 – Crime Stoppers of the Inland Northwest is offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect(s) believed to be responsible for robberies that occurred at the Walgreens Pharmacy in Spokane Valley and Albertsons Pharmacy in the unincorporated area of Spokane County. The cash reward is donated by RxPATROL®, a collaborative effort between industry, pharmacists and law enforcement to collect, collate, analyze and disseminate information on pharmacy theft. Further information is available to authorized personnel at RxPATROL.org. “It’s important for people to know that they can call in tips or submit tips via the web site and remain completely anonymous. Callers never have to give their names or appear in court. The Crime Stoppers tip line does not use any tape recording or caller ID device,” said Crime Stoppers Committee Member Eric Green. Robbery Details for Public Announcement • Date/Time: Saturday, 11/15/2014 4:41PM • Location: Walgreens Pharmacy, 15510 E. Sprague Ave, Spokane Valley • Description of Events: The employee reported a male approached the pharmacy counter stating he was armed and wanted all the prescription medication. A weapon was not seen by the employees and after receiving the medications, the suspect ran from the store. • Suspect Description: The suspect was described as a 20-25 year-old white male, 6’00”, average build, wearing blue jeans, a black coat, gloves, a black knit hat and his face was partially covered. • Date/Time: Saturday, 11/15/2014 6:50PM • Location: Albertsons Pharmacy, 13606 E. 32nd Ave, Spokane County • Description of Events: Employees said the suspect jumped over the counter and started to grab bottles of medication. The suspect appeared to be holding a knife as he demanded prescription medication. The suspect jumped back over the counter and ran from the business. • Suspect Description: The suspect was described as a white or Hispanic male, 5’10” to 6’00”, approximately 160 pounds, wearing a dark colored coat, blue jeans, long dark curly hair, a beanie type cap, and his face was partially covered.
