If your rabbit has crusty material in its ears, and seems very itchy around its ears these nasty little creatures could be the culprits- Psoroptes cuniculi or rabbit ear mites- horrible things and can cause a lot of discomfort and irritation and secondary infection. Ugh just makes you feel itchy looking at them.
