Video game and violence is deteriorates human intelligence, memory, and the creative cognitive phase (Gee, 2007). Studies in Cognitive Psychology and Neuroscience demonstrate how positive emotions are affected and modulated by video aggression and violence (Gentile, 2009). This creates problems in the autonomic nervous system, emotional traumas, and diminishes the size of the frontal cortex (Weber, 2006). This area of the cerebral cortex produces conscious knowledge of the environment and identification to the subconscious attention (Carter, 2014). Conscious and unconscious routes take information through the cortical areas, and produces conscious awareness. This creates a conscious and thoughtful response in the brain (Carter, 2014).
