Video of original operation at bottom: https://youtube/watch?v=_GMJSlW6Iis Dear Cow shareholders and customers, Much has changed this last week; We have moved from one side of the Trout Lake Valley to the other. With only a few snafus, it went well. We have more cows in line, more milk, and the extended family is still smiling. I so want to thank you for your support and enthusiasm in our business of producing Grade A Certified Raw Jersey (and 1 Guernsey) milk. We have come through the cold weather well. Cows are happy and producing well. I want also to update you on our operation. Jesse, my son-in-law, and his son, Jed, have been taking care of all the milking and bottling during the last month or more. I usually check in, give oversight, and do odds and ends daily. Our milk continues to be well regarded in its reputation as it is tested monthly for temperature control and purity by Washington Food Safety Officers. It is also enjoyed by more and more customers, some of them cheese-makers who travel as far away as Vancouver preferring our raw milk to others available. Largely because of increasing demand, Jesse, my Grandson Jed, and their Father -- Monte Pearson (my mentor and Organic Valley bulk producer), and I have moved the milking and bottling to an alternate location in the valley. I will continue to distribute and market our milk and have it available in the salesroom at our present location and the new location in town at 11 Little Mountain Road. Cow shareholders and retail outlets will continue to receive milk without any change. The only change in the way we do our operation will be the use of an in-line milking and cooling system which will allow adding additional cows and faster milking. Shareholders, you are our priority patrons and advocates. Your input is appreciated. If the milk continues to please as in the past, let us know. If you notice any difference in taste or if it doesn’t last as long and is then better used for biscuits or waffles, please let me know. It is especially important that you sign off on the bulletin board on either weekly calendar or roster so that we know you received milk and can account for the cold cash. Also indicate your preference for pickup point. Honey, which is scarce, will only be available at the original salesroom. Appreciate you and wish you a Blessed and Happy New Year. Jim
