It was an epic adventure for Jay and I. The South Africa team was led by guide Sean Disney (ADI). It was an unforgettable and magical experience dragging sleds, ascending steep ice slopes, avoiding crevasses, spectacular views, 24/7 sunshine and finally reaching the summit in freezing conditions estimated at -45°C. At 16 years, Jay Funnell became the youngest South African to have reached this peak! An unforgettable and awe-inspiring adventure. This video gives a taster of the experience!
