So happy for some company, Layla wags her tail and gives me a big smile. Her leash manners are good and we head to the park where we meet a dog being walked by another volunteer. Layla reminded me of the den mother or the gracious hostess, constantly checking on her guest to make sure he/she was happy. As we walked, she kept turning to check on the other dog to make sure he was behind us and doing well. We finally walked side by side, Layla happy and invigorated then as she knew her new friend was doing well. It was such a great dynamic to watch. She does well in play group, so clearly enjoys the company of dogs and may do well in a home with a canine sibling. Shes the mother hen, the hostess with the mostest, low key, gentle and easy. A low rider little meatball, shes hoping to make herself comfy in your home today.
