Vietnam Heritage Aug 2013 (Events) (No.7, Vol.3, Aug 2013 Vietnam Heritage Magazine) The largest travel exhibition in the Mekong Region 12-14 September 2013 The 9th International Travel Expo will be held from 12-14 September at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ho Chi Minh City. The first two days of the exhibition will be open only to trade visitors, with the public welcome to join the event on the last day. ITE HCMC 2013 will showcase over 300 exhibiting organisations from over 58 destinations. It is expected to attract 18,000 international, regional and local trade and public visitors. Some Country and City Pavilions include: Visit Berlin - Germany, Korea Be Inspired, Wonderful Indonesia, Taiwan the Heart of Asia, Amazing Thailand, It’s More Fun in the Philippines, Sabah Best of Borneo - Malaysia, Cambodia Kingdom of Wonder, Laos Simply Beautiful, Mystical Myanmar and Vietnam Timeless Charm. Thailand will be joining the Mekong Tourism Alliance together with Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam to endorse this event and form the theme: ‘5 Countries – A Single Destination’. The organising committee comprises of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vietnam Trade Fair & Advertising Joint Stock Company (VINEXAD) and Informa Exhibitions.
