Vijay Sethupathy- A lesson for the struggling youth Jul 15, 2013 From a small time actor to one of the most celebrated heroes of the recent times, Vijay Sethupathy has struggled through his career to become what he is today. In a recent interview, the actor recollected how much confidence Seenu Ramasamy, who directed him in Thenmerku Paruvakaatru, had in him. It seems the director used to tell Vijay that he had everything to be a brilliant actor, except for self-belief. The actor was quoted as saying, “He (Seenu Ramasamy) urged me to believe in myself, in my talent and asked me to keep working hard. Rest will follow.” The Soodhu Kavvum actor is now proud when he hears that the story of his struggle instils confidence in many toiling youths. Vijay Sethupathy currently has half a dozen projects in his hands including Rummy, Idharkuthaane Aasaipattai Balakumara, Pannayarum Padminiyum, Sangudevan and Vasanthakumaran. He might also be doing a guest appearance in Karthik Subbaraj’s next venture, Jigarthanda starring Siddharth and Lakshmi Menon.
