Vikings 2015 Cap figure is the 12th highest before any moves but here is how the Vikings can save money without sacrificing key players: 1-Greenway wont be back due to Hodges improvement. That saves 8 million right there. 2-Robison & Jennings could be restructured and kept. See if Jennings will play for 8 and B Rob plays for 4 (thats only asking them to keep playing for their current salary), thatll save another 4.5 So theres 12.5 in savings so far..... 3-Id free up some room by cutting Charlie Johnson...his salary is too high for what he is...Isnt he making 2-3 mill? That could be around 15 million freed up with just those moves... Thats plenty good to sign the rookies, re-sign Tom Johnson and bring in an impact UFA or 2....
